Meet and greet service at the arrival hall in Zurich Airport by your local driver and transfer to the hotel. Leisure time in the evening.Day 2: Zurich - Bern - Thun - Interlaken
After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, check out and get ready to be greeted by the driver at the lobby of Zurich hotel at 09:00; he will transfer you to the centre of the city to meet the local guide to delve into the history of Zurich during two hours foot tour while covering the Old Town, Grossmunster, Bahnhofstrasse, Paradeplatz, Fraumuenster church, Lake Zurich and the Limmatquai among others.
At 11:00, the guide will farewell you at the meeting point with the driver once again in order to head to the Swiss capital of Bern - the small city with a vast historical heritage. Upon your arrival, around 13:00, you will have a 1-hour free time to drink a cup of coffee or to have a lunch break before meeting Bern's local guide at 14:00, who will take you on 2 hours discovery tour through Altschtadt with the famous public fountains, Clock tower, Rose Garden, Parliament square, Muenster, Bear Park. Leaving Bern, we will pass by the historical centre of Thun, which stands out with its unique pavements; free time for a short stroll of 30 min to 1 hour for the promenade near Lake Thun, which will leave you speechless with its magniﬁcent scenery of the Alps. Overall, overnight in Interlaken.Day 3: Interlaken - Zermatt (Car-free Resort)
At 09:30, following your breakfast, the driver will meet you at the hotel lobby for a short exploration free time (30 min to 1-hour) of the beautiful small town and popular tourist destination in central Switzerland - Interlaken.
After strolling in the town, you may take the funicular experience to the Harder Kulm - the top of Interlaken, which transfers you to a quiet Alpine landscape in 8-10 minutes. It is a perspective at 1,321 meters in the Berner Oberland region of Switzer-land. (Available from mid-April till almost the end of November) At the summit, in good weather, you may capture some memorable photos of the whole Interlaken while also having an opportunity of enjoying a small meal at the panoramic restaurant.
Afterward, we will continue our tour to Lauterbrunnen. It is a small Swiss village with lush greenery majestic valley where you are offered the scenery of magniﬁcent rocks, mountain peaks with 72 mesmerizing waterfalls, and colorful Alpine meadows (30 min to 1 hour).
Later, we will proceed to the car-free resort of Zermatt to spend a night. It is one of the ﬁnest Swiss resorts. The drop-off will be at St. Niklaus station, from where you will have a 10 min transfer in a licensed car to the village entry of Zermatt. (The cost of this service is CHF 10.00.- per person to be paid in cash on the spot by the traveler).
The private transfer company will agree with the booked hotel in Zermatt to arrange an e-car transfer service for the luggage upon arrival at Zermatt Village entry. You can reach the hotel by foot or hire another e-car service for your transfer.Day 4: Zermatt
Today you will have a free day without the driver and vehicle to explore Zermatt while admiring the beauty of the famous Matterhorn.
As Zermatt is a car-free resort, you need to walk to explore the town or enjoy this beauty closely. You may take the Gornergrat cogwheel railway from the village Zermatt Train Station to 3,100 metres above sea level. All your way, you will have a constant view of the Matterhorn. You can’t get enough of the panorama at the top – mountains, and glaciers as far as the eye can see. Or maybe visiting Matterhorn Museum, Kirchplatz 3920 Zermatt, reveals the history of the village of Zermatt. Attractions include original houses, a multimedia room, and ﬁnds from the ﬁrst ascent of the Matterhorn. Overnight in Zermatt.
After breakfast, please reach the reception of the hotel; they will assist you in arranging an e-car service from the hotel to Zermatt train station to catch the famous Glacier Express –one of Switzerland's best scenic train rides across the Alps, connecting two of the most popular resorts – Zermatt and St. Moritz. The entire journey takes around 7.5 hours and crosses 291 bridges, passes through 91 tunnels and climbs over the 2033m high Oberalp Pass. You will admire the beautiful panoramic train while traveling right through the Swiss Alps. Besides, you will enjoy a 3-course meal during your journey; the beverages are not included. Upon arrival in St. Moritz, you will be greeted by the driver at the station to have a transfer to the hotel. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Start your day with a yummy breakfast; later, you will be greeted by the driver at 09:30 at the hotel's lobby in St. Moritz, who will take you to explore the town, free time (30 min to 1 hour).
Next, you will visit the highest town in the Swiss Alps, Davos, and Klosters (1 to 2 hours). There are many ways to experience the Alpine nature and landscapes, especially when you ﬁnd yourself on perfectly planned roads. You may take a cable car up the hill and explore some fantastic paths for hiking there. Compared with its metropolis Davos, Klosters has more of a calm and quiet reputation. However, both are considered glamorous sides of the Alps, where you can only ﬁnd the simple luxury typical in Switzerland. Afterward, it will be time to move to one of the famous Swiss spa resorts, Bad-Ragaz. Here, you can enjoy your Swiss dream in Tamina Therme; a fantastic spa (2 hours), and some wellness options are guaranteed. Overall, we will continue our way to have an overnight in Zurich.Day 7: Zurich - Lucerne - Mt. Pilatus - Zurich
After breakfast, our journey will start at 10:00 when the English-speaking driver greets you at the lobby of your hotel in Zurich to depart and visit the most enchanting Swiss City of Lucerne for 2 hours accompanied by the local guide while enjoying Lake Lucerne, St. Peter's Chapel, the Chapel Bridge, Jesuit Church, Reuss River, Lion Monument, among other sights. Later, you have some free time (2 – 3 hours leisure) with an optional experience which is Mount Pilatus, by taking the Dragon Ride cable car up to the mountain, and this is the real adventure part of your trip!
Overall, we will return to the Zurich hotel to prepare your luggage for leaving.Day 8: Zurich City - Airport
Enjoy a tasty breakfast before the transfer to Zurich Airport. Time to catch your return ﬂight with hopes of seeing you again in the heart of Europe - Switzerland to explore other hidden gems.
