By confirming any travel service with AlpExcursion.com, you affirm that you have considered and accepted our Company’s Terms and Conditions: The Company shall not be liable for any errors or omissions that may happen if you ignore acknowledgement or receipt. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
The Company may alter the Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice. Therefore, you should check the new version on our website www.alpexcursion.com, regularly.
The Company shall endeavour to act in goodwill and make all efforts within its competence to ensure an enjoyable and safe journey, which fully meets the client’s expectations.
BookingWhile booking any travel service through our company for a group, the Client confirms that he/she is authorised to accept the Company’s Terms and Conditions on behalf of everyone named in the booking.
You should check all the details in the booking summary and advise us if you discover any inconsistencies within the information provided. Please be aware that changes requested later on in the booking may incur charges or not be possible (for more information, refer to points of “Changes” and “Cancellations”).
The Client will receive a final confirmation of the booking after the full payment is made. When the booking is confirmed, the Client will receive all the necessary travel documents.
Scope of these Terms and ConditionsThe following Terms and Conditions are considered to be a contract between the Client and ARATOURS SA, which come into force once the Company has received your electronic or written booking request.
PricesThe Company reserves the right to alter the prices shown in our brochures and on our website any time such changes are required: the Client will be advised of the final price at the time of confirming the booking. The static prices for the excursions can be found in CHF (Swiss Francs) currency on the official website of www.alpexcursion.com. The services' costs can also be paid in Euros or USD, which are subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Please be aware that for all the excursions, you are advised about the scope of services included in the price, if you require more than the mentioned services, contact our agents for a more bespoke price.
Rate ChangesThe Company reserves the right to change the rates on the website, leaflets, or brochures which you will be informed of by the travel agent before signing the contract.
The price increase can be caused, but not limited to, some points mentioned below:
Payment Methods: The Company accepts all widely used payment methods such as Credit Card (for security reasons, we are eager to send you a secure payment link so that you won't have to provide your CC details online), bank transfer. In submitting payment details, you warrant that you have the authority to use the card and authorise the Company to withdraw the amount.
Deposit Payment: For excursions, a deposit payment of at least 50% is compulsory (depending on the specific trip, your travel agent will let you know the exact amount of the deposit payment). If the Client fails to make the payment within the predetermined time, the Company is entitled to cancel the pending trip and claim cancellation fees.
Final Payment: Your booking will be confirmed only after the Company receives the full payment for the requested trip (Travel documents will be sent to you after the booking confirmation). If the final payment is delayed, we are entitled to cancel the service and claim cancellation fees.
Changes on Confirmed ExcursionsIf you would like to make any changes to an already confirmed excursion, then you should notify your travel agent using a written format. Please be aware that the requested changes may cause both bank fees and extra costs from other service providers (local companies, transportation companies, etc.). The Company will do its best to meet your needs and make changes accordingly, but we regret that, in some cases, it won't always be possible.
Changes are required at least 24 hours before the departure time for confirmed excursions.
Cancellation and RebookingTo cancel already confirmed excursions, the Company will require written consent from the Client.
If you cancel a confirmed excursion, the following fees will be applied:
Please be informed that the last indicated date in your written request will be considered as a base for the calculation of costs caused by cancellation or rebooking.
If you have cancellation insurance, then the cancellation charges will be paid by the respective insurance company.
Travel Documents The Client will receive all the travel documents after the full payment and booking confirmation. Travel documents will be sent to the Client on an electronic form. However, hard copies will also be available upon request. Visas and PassportsIt is the Client’s responsibility to have a valid passport: it is recommended to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond the end of the trip as well as have a minimum of three blank pages.
The Client is responsible for obtaining and paying for all visa and other entry documents required by the laws and regulations of Switzerland.
The Company cannot take liability for any traveller, who cannot obtain a visa due to incorrect information being supplied.
Emergency Contact DetailsAll the Clients need to provide the Company with emergency contact details so we are able to contact friends or family members in case of any emergency.
Laws and RegulationsThe Swiss legal system shall apply to the present Terms and Conditions.
ARATOURS SA LiabilitiesIf the Company fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, then it is responsible only for loss or damage caused to you because of the breach and negligence. Hence, a refund will be made as per the caused harm by the Company. We are not liable for accidents, which occur during the provision of the service, such as illnesses, injuries, or death, unless our negligence causes it. Kindly note that it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of yourself and those in your group.
In the event of force majeure situations such as war, epidemics, natural disasters, military operations, etc., the effects and consequences of which cannot be reasonably mitigated or prevented, as well as delays and deviations caused by weather conditions (heavy rains, thunderstorms, fires, etc.) or public services (changes in the schedule of air transport and railway), the Company reserves the right to cancel or make changes to the travel arrangements.
The Company has no responsibility for the eventuality of missed flights or connections due to bad weather conditions, traffic congestion, road accidents, acts of terrorism and vandalism.
The Company provides no warranty to access all the public sites during a trip. As Switzerland is an attractive destination for tourists from around the world, some attractions may be crowded.
If the Company does not have the necessary minimum number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel the trip. In rare cases, if we cancel the booking, the Company shall notify the Client at the earliest possible date and refund all the amounts that have been prepaid to us or seek to offer you an equivalent replacement of your excursion.
Client's LiabilitiesIt is your responsibility to provide full and correct information while making a booking and notify the Company of any alterations in the details.
Hereby you authorise us that the Company is entitled to charge the card for any damage incurred during the transfer by your fault.
Parents or chaperons (friends over 18 years) of children and adolescents under the age of 18 years are responsible for the conduct of the minors during the trip.
Force MajeureThe Company shall not be liable for any delays, changes, or service cancellations due to force majeure, or to other circumstances that are unforeseeable or beyond the service provider’s control, such as accidents suffered by the third parties on the transfer route, police checkpoints, acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions, etc.
Dispute Settlement and Legal VenueIn the event of a dispute, the Company and the Client shall apply their best endeavours to seek an amicable and faithful resolution. Shall the Parties fail to reach such a resolution, the dispute shall be brought before an independent mediator. Shall the Parties fail to resolve with the help of the mediator, the Company, as well as the Client, shall reserve the right to submit the conflict for resolution by a formal litigation process. By accepting the present Terms and Conditions, the Client agrees that the legal venue is Fribourg, Switzerland, before the Court of First Instance.
ComplaintsIf the service quality does not meet your expectations, you are strongly encouraged to inform us about it in written form, sending us an e-mail with corresponding evidence confirming the loss and damage. After the receipt of your complaint with supporting documents, ARATOURS SA will take the necessary steps to compensate for your loss or damage.
