Day 2: (Thursday) – Four Countries in One Day

Experience four countries in a single day, traveling through Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Discover the distinct character of each destination, from alpine mountain views and lakeside towns to historic streets and spectacular natural landscapes.

Begin your journey in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, before continuing to Bregenz on the shores of Lake Constance. From there, ascend by cable car to Pfänder Mountain for sweeping views across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

Continue to Lindau, a charming island town in Germany, where medieval streets and a picturesque harbour await. Return to Switzerland for a visit to the Rhine Falls, or, depending on the season, the historic town of Stein am Rhein, before returning to Zurich after a day filled with new discoveries.

Day 3: (Friday) – Scenic Rail Journey to Bern via Lucerne

Make your way to Bern via Lucerne and Interlaken, combining seamless rail travel with historic highlights and stunning Swiss scenery. Sit back and enjoy a comfortable journey through some of Switzerland’s most beautiful landscapes, with your luggage transferred ahead for added convenience.

Begin with a train ride from Zurich to Lucerne, where a guided city experience introduces you to the historic Old Town, including the iconic Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. Enjoy some free time for lunch along the Reuss before continuing by panoramic train through the Brünig Pass towards Interlaken.

Along the way, take in views of shimmering lakes, cascading waterfalls, and alpine landscapes before arriving in Interlaken, beautifully situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Enjoy some time to explore Switzerland’s adventure capital before continuing by train to Bern. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, where your luggage will be waiting for you.

Day 4: (Saturday) – Gruyères Experience

Spend the day discovering Switzerland’s culinary heritage, with a journey through the traditions of its famous cheese and chocolate. Start with a scenic train ride to Gruyères, where a visit to La Maison du Gruyère offers an insight into the production of its world-renowned cheese.

Continue to the medieval village of Gruyères, where you can explore its charming streets and enjoy some free time for lunch. From there, a short private transfer takes you to the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory for a self-guided visit, before returning to Bern after a day filled with authentic Swiss flavours and traditions.

Day 5: (Sunday) – Schilthorn Alpine Experience

Set off for a journey into the Lauterbrunnen Valley, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and 72 waterfalls, before continuing to Stechelberg for the cable car ascent to Schilthorn at 2,970 metres.

At the summit, take time to explore the Skyline Walk and enjoy sweeping views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Discover the interactive James Bond “Spy World” exhibition before enjoying a meal at Piz Gloria, the iconic revolving restaurant offering 360-degree views of more than 200 alpine peaks.
