Description

Day 1 – Basel – Gruyères – Montreux

Depart from Basel with your private driver and journey through the Swiss countryside to Gruyères, where you can discover the traditions behind some of Switzerland’s most famous cheeses. Visit a local cheesemaking site before taking a stroll through the medieval village and exploring Gruyères Castle. Enjoy lunch featuring regional Swiss specialities before continuing to Maison Cailler, Switzerland’s oldest chocolate brand, for a chocolate discovery.
From there, continue through the countryside towards the Swiss Riviera and the lakeside town of Montreux, where you will spend the night.

Day 2 – Montreux – Spiez – Interlaken – Basel

Begin the day with a ride aboard the GoldenPass panoramic train, traveling from Montreux towards Spiez through a changing landscape of vineyards, lakes, and alpine scenery. From Spiez, continue by private cruise across Lake Thun to Interlaken, enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains and lakeside villages along the way.
Upon arrival in Interlaken, enjoy some time at leisure to explore the town before your private transfer back to Basel, bringing your journey through western Switzerland to a close.
