Alpine Splendor: Oeschinen Lake Guided Hike!

Your day begins in Zurich, where your driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel. He'll provide a brief orientation before you set off. Make sure to dress appropriately for hiking and ensure you have all the necessary gear.

The tour starts with a scenic drive through Central Switzerland to reach the village of Kandersteg. Here, you will meet your professional hiking guide and ascend from Kandersteg to the Oeschinensee station via Gondola. During the ascent, you will witness the scenic vistas of the Bernese Alps.

The Lake Oeschinen Loop is a 9-kilometer moderately challenging trail that leads you high above the lake for the most panoramic views. As you hike, you'll pass through meadows and forests, where you’ll find various viewpoints to marvel at the lake's beauty. Your guide will share insights into the local geology, ecosystem, and the surrounding landscape.

During lunch, you can savor a delicious packed lunch at a scenic spot overlooking the lake and the majestic mountains.

The last third of the hike will be along the shore of Lake Oeschinen and you can swim in the crystal clear waters of this alpine lake.

The hike concludes as you complete the Lake Oeschinen Circular trail and head back to the Oeschinensee station. Your gondola ride will descend to Kandersteg, offering more stunning views.

As you reach Kandersteg, your driver will take you back to your accommodation after a long and adventurous day.
