Description

Begin your journey as our driver-guide greets you at the lobby of your hotel in Lucerne. As you go through the idyllic Swiss countryside, prepare for an exploration of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, also known as the Valley of 72 Waterfalls.

Take the panoramic gondola, ascending to the magnificent Grütschalp, where your thrilling trek to Allmendhubel, situated 1900m above sea level, starts. This self-guided escapade allows you to set your own pace, following the detailed guide we provide for you.

From the vantage point of Schilthorn (2970m), soak in the awe-inspiring vistas of the iconic Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger peaks, renowned features of the Swiss Alps.

After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking, covering a distance of 5km with a 480m elevation gain, arrive at Allmendhubel. Here, the Panoramic Restaurant awaits, offering delectable local refreshments. Nearby, the Flower Path awaits, providing informative insights into Alpine flora suitable for visitors of all ages.

Following a well-deserved respite amidst the mountainous landscape, descend comfortably via two different gondolas to Stechelberg. Along the descent, immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls and rugged cliffs adorning the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Upon reaching Stechelberg Station, your dedicated driver-guide presents two enticing options:

1) Opt for a scenic 5km hike through the Lauterbrunnen Valley, concluding with a picnic at your chosen spot.

2) Alternatively, allow our driver-guide to transport you to a picturesque location on the shores of Lake Brienz for a tranquil picnic and a refreshing swim.

As the day draws to a close, our driver-guide ensures your safe return to your accommodation in Lucerne, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
