Description

Embark on a captivating day trip from your hotel in Bern, accompanied by our experienced driver-guide, as we traverse the captivating Swiss landscapes to the renowned Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Ascend to the majestic Grütschalp via a panoramic gondola, commencing your hike to Allmendhubel at 1900m above sea level.

Immerse yourself in the serene alpine meadows beneath the towering Schilthorn (2970m), adorned with vibrant blueberries and picturesque grazing cattle. Marvel at the iconic vistas of Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger, symbols of the central Swiss Alps.

After approximately 2.5 hours of exploration, covering 5km with a 480m elevation gain, arrive at Allmendhubel. Treat yourself to local refreshments at the Panoramic Restaurant, or meander along the nearby Flower Path, offering captivating insights into Alpine fauna.

Following a rejuvenating break amidst the natural splendor, descend effortlessly via two different gondolas to Stechelberg. Delight in the breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls and rugged cliffs embellishing the Lauterbrunnen Valley during the descent.

At Stechelberg Station, our driver-guide presents two enticing options:

1) Opt for a scenic hike through the Lauterbrunnen Valley, culminating in a delightful picnic at your chosen spot.

2) Alternatively, allow our driver-guide to escort you to a serene locale on the shores of Lake Brienz for a scenic picnic and a refreshing swim.

Our driver will take you back to your hotel in Bern after the exciting day.
