Your winter experience starts with a pickup from your hotel in Basel, where your driver-guide will take you on a picturesque journey through Switzerland’s winter wonderland, bound for Erlenbach. Relax as you leave behind the bustle of the city and enter a tranquil alpine landscape.
Guided Snowshoe Tour: Upon arrival, take a gondola up to Chrindi middle station, where a guide will provide all the gear you need for an invigorating snowshoe trek. Enjoy a peaceful, two-hour hike across soft snow between two frozen mountain lakes, surrounded by towering peaks like the Stockhorn. The quiet beauty of this pristine area is perfect for all abilities, offering a refreshing, accessible outdoor experience.
Fondue in an Igloo: After your hike, retreat to a cozy igloo for a hearty Swiss fondue meal. Start with an aperitif, then indulge in warm, melted cheese accompanied by bread and potatoes, and finish with a delicious dessert. The igloo’s snowy surroundings make this a truly unforgettable experience.
Return to Basel: As you take the gondola back to Erlenbach, enjoy the final scenic views of the Alpine landscape. Your driver-guide will then transport you back to your hotel in Basel, ending a fantastic winter journey. Enjoy the comfortable ride back reflecting on the fantastic winter day.
